While no one was looking, we went ahead and produced a new website for the Neuroscience Department of Johns Hopkins University. The site just launched with a fully dynamic homepage designed to highlight the world class faculty, the research and the publications. The site is very student-centric with profiles of current students as well as alumni and post-doc pages. An intranet provides for secured information with separate areas for faculty and students. W+A provided the design built with the Bootstrap framework as well as application development in ExpressionEngine. This was a turnkey site, as we handled all the content transfer as well.
The site started with over 1,000 static html files and thousands of related images and documents. It was all brought to heel under an ExpressionEngine CMS within a 4 month timeframe from sign-off to site launch.
